Cherokee Indian Reservation is about thirty five miles from Gatlingburg, TN, a drive that includes phenomenal mountain views and knuckle-gripping steep roads and drops. One road turns so sharply it actually curves over itself (like an auger). It was an unforgettable ride, but one well worth the trip. The first photo shows the welcoming sign at the reservation entrance. The second photo is of the two drummers who played for the dancers. Point of interest: the reservation also includes a Harrah's casino.   |
